Smitten History

Love, Fashion, Celebrities, Life and of course Weddings

Welcome to Smitten! Smitten was created in 2009 for one very important reason, your enjoyment! Perfect Wedding Planner understands that planning any event can leave you, at times, a little overwhelmed, so let Smitten be your breath of fresh air. As you stroll through our Community Place or shop in our Boutique, don’t forget to say hello to Smitten. She is sure to let you know about the latest in trends and even give you some good old-fashioned gossip.

When Perfect Wedding Planner decided to create an online magazine, it was important for us to find the perfect name that would express the magazine and all of it’s content. Smitten focuses on: love life, love fashion, and love entertainment. Perfect Wedding Planner thrives on finding the love that really is in the air. We like to focus on nothing other than the good, the fun and the juicy, who doesn’t?!? Every article is meant to put a smile on your face and leave you absolutely Smitten.

Smitten not only expresses the magazine, it expresses the people behind it too. Monica Scotto-Bruton is the Creator and Editor of Smitten and she is also the Director of Perfect Wedding Planner. Other than her love for planning once in a lifetime events, Monica has a deep passion and knowledge for fashion and entertainment. When she decided to merge her loves together…Smitten was born. If you’re attracted to Smitten’s look and feel you can thank Nicole Versaggi because she is the Senior Designer. It is her job to make sure that Smitten is always dressed to impress! Amanda Anello, an Event Planner at Perfect Wedding Planner, is the Chief Writer. You will find a range of articles written by Amanda in different sections of Smitten. She graduated with an English Literature degree, so it’s fitting that she would love to read and write. It’s no secret around the office that she is a huge fashion and entertainment buff, much like Monica herself, so she is ecstatic to have the opportunity to be a part of Smitten. Jessica Di Biasi, the Assistant Manager and Event Planner, will be turning her years of Culinary Schooling into fun articles featuring recipes you can try at home for any event! Her articles for Smitten will be sure to fill your appetite! Jaclyn Ferreiro is the first friendly face you see when walking into PWP’s showroom, she is the Administrative Assistant. You might have also chatted with her on our Facebook and Twitter pages! Before joining the team, Jaclyn worked with ALSAC St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; she will be focusing on the charitable side of entertainers and lifestyle. Elizabeth Mudge is the assistant to PWP’s Floral Designer and she is also a mommy!! A good women’s magazine couldn’t be complete without some information for all of the mom’s and soon-to-be mom’s out there. Whether you’re looking for the best stroller or a Mommy Movie you can relate too, Liz will have you covered!

Like any strong-minded powerful woman, Smitten’s path is not yet completely written. In the future, don’t be surprised to find the Smitten label on clothing and accessories, and she also dreams of one day becoming an actual "material" girl…hint hint.

However, your fiancé is all about edible favors, and I don’t blame him. Who doesn’t like something sweet to munch on after a fun night of dancing and a long car ride home! Decisions, decisions…
